Helping You Find The Answers Needed To
Transform Your Health

Frustrated by illness and the overwhelming search for answers? Dr. Stenehjem understands what you are going through, and can help.

She has the unique perspective of being a physician who was previously home-bound due to illness. She uses this insight to help her clients, from all over the United States, navigate their symptoms, diagnoses, and healthcare systems to find the answers they need to transform their health.

Dr. Stenehjem is currently offering a 30-minute phone consultation for $45, a 50% discount off her standard rate.

Amy Stenehjem, M.D.

Dr. Stenehjem doesn't work as an actual physician, diagnosing or treating patients, but instead uses her medical background and personal experience as a patient to help those struggling with:

  • a diagnosed medical issue or multiple medical issues without effective treatment options
  • an undiagnosed symptom or collection of symptoms without effective treatment options

Dr. Stenehjem works with clients experiencing any level of illness, from those just starting to notice a minor change in their health, to those who are home-bound due to illness.

After graduating from medical school in 2000, Dr. Stenehjem worked as a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician in Minneapolis, MN, specializing in the care of those with Fibromyalgia, chronic neck/back problems, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis), and autoimmune-related joint disease.

But in 2011, her health began to dramatically decline. She became very sick, unable to walk a few feet without severe fatigue, shortness, of breath, and dizziness. She also had several other symptoms involving multiple organ systems, including neurological problems, fevers, rashes, night sweats, and joint pain.

Dr. Stenehjem spent the next 7 years home-bound due to illness, seeing more than 20 doctors, and spending countless hours searching for the answers she needed to transform her health. Once she found these answers, she created the health consulting firm, Mastering Health & Happiness, to help others struggling with illness.

"I became a health consultant because I know how frustrating, overwhelming, and at times isolating it feels to be sick and could only imagine how difficult it is for those who don't have a medical background."
